Item Title
C-26 Memorandum of Understanding between Episcopal Children's Services Head Start/Early Head Start 2010-2011.
Issue/Rationale
Continue the established working agreement between The School District of Clay County and Episcopal Children's Services Head Start/ Early Head Start to serve eligible preschool children required by federal and state laws. This includes consultation services to Head Start students with disabilities.
Recommended Action
Approve Memorandum of Understanding with Episcopal Children's Services Head Start/Early Head Start as presented.
Financial Impact
This agreement provides that the district will earn FTE for the services provided. Existing personnel will regularly visit Head Start sites to provide mandatory consultation. Head Start will provide round-trip transportation to schools for therapy services.
